English Classes
Our English-language teachers are friendly, welcoming and qualified, with a wide range of experience. They love what they do and work very hard to help students achieve their personal goals.
Classes take place on the same site as your accommodation. Students are grouped according to age and level of English.
Bring local history and culture into your English classes by choosing themed English-language lessons - the Industrial Revolution, street art, 'Our Planet Matters', slavery and abolition, and more!
Accommodation
Residential accommodation (ages 12+).
Ideal for groups of younger students, teens, adults and corporates groups, YHA Bristol is situated in a former waterfront grain house, which has been sympathetically restored to offer relaxed, well-appointed accommodation in the perfect city-centre location. You'll find many of the city’s very best attractions on the doorstep.
Dorm-style rooms sleeping 2-6 people are provided for students. Private rooms are available for teachers/group leaders. Some rooms have en-suite facilities.
For those rooms that don't have en-suite facilities, shared shower and toilet facilities are located close to each room.
Each room typically includes bunk beds, a reading light and storage cupboard for each guest which can be secured by a padlock if needed.
Breakfast and dinner is available in the on-site café/restaurant where plenty of choice is provided, and all dietary needs can be catered for. A packed lunch is also provided daily.
Please note that, although EngXcel's courses and programmes are hosted at YHA properties, EngXcel Ltd is not affiliated with or endorsed by YHA (England & Wales).
