Lessons and accommodation

English Classes

Our language school teachers are friendly and welcoming, with a wide range of experience, not only in English-language teaching, but also in the business and academic worlds. This enables them to provide a variety of specialist courses to our visiting groups. Most importantly, they love what they do and work very hard to help students achieve their personal goals.

Classes take place in central Cambridge in venues such as University of Cambridge colleges, Anglia Ruskin University and Chesterton Community College. Which venue we use for which group will depend on the venue’s availability, the group size and perhaps the time of year (for example, University colleges may not be available during the University exam period).

Accommodation

We provide homestay (min. age 14) and residential accommodation (ages 12+).

All homestay providers are inspected and are selected for inspection at random by our accrediting body. We have a number of friendly hosts ready to welcome students into their home.

Homestay includes dinner and breakfast each day and packed lunch at weekends/on excursion days. Lunch is provided at school on days when students have lessons.

Homestay hosts are mostly located in Cambridge's main residential areas of Chesterton, Arbury, Cherry Hinton and Fulbourn. Some homestays are located in villages adjoining the City such as Milton, Histon etc. All hosts are close to direct bus routes taking students to school, the historic centre and the bus and rail stations within 10-50 minutes.

As an alternative to homestay, Cambridge offers a wide range of hotel, hostel, university college and self-catering accommodation to suit all needs and budgets. These are especially suited to groups of younger students, adults and corporates groups.

We work with established local accommodation partners, and benefit from special rates which our students are able to enjoy.
