London Stansted (STN) is the most convenient airport for Cambridge, and with regular direct trains you can be here in as little as 40 minutes.
Other London airports also work well, including Heathrow (LHR), Luton (LTN) and Gatwick (LGW).
The Eurostar is a great way for our European students to get to Cambridge, taking you right to St Pancras International station in central London. From there you can easily get a direct train to Cambridge from either St Pancras itself or London King's Cross across the road.
If you want to bring your own car (a great option for families or anyone who wants to combine their course with a Great British road trip!) the popular ferry ports of Portsmouth, Dover and Hull are all less than a 3-hour drive from Cambridge.
Alternatively, the port of Harwich - with 14 weekly sailings from the Hook of Holland - is only 1.5 hours from Cambridge by car.
For a smooth and stress-free journey straight to your accommodation in Cambridge, book a private taxi transfer through us. Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you and your luggage straight to your door in Cambridge. Take the worry out of your return journey and add a departure transfer too.
These prices are based on 2 people travelling with light luggage - please contact us if you would like a quote for more passengers or excess luggage. Please also contact us if you would like a quote for transfers from other locations.
